Exploring NYC #6
Our hotel in NYC was only a few blocks away from Times Square in Midtown Manhattan, yet we did not venture down to this popular tourist destination until the end of our trip. At night it is mesmerizing with all the neon lights, colorful billboards, and advertisements. It is also a great place for people watching although I found it overwhelming after a short while. Times Square is known around the world as a symbol of the American spirit but I found it representative of America’s culture of excess.

I would agree with you that the overwhelming message is excess! Great shots though.M
